Inspired by the dots of darkness that hang around in our brightest moments, the dotted darkness vase is an a-line shape with a modern rounded handle on each side. This mini vase is great for a few stems or simply just one.
Wheel thrown and hand shaped from mid-fire stoneware these vases all follow the same path but each has it's own unique feel. The inside is glazed smooth and outside is adorned with a koke black glaze applied by hand, one stroke at a time.
Please note the "seconds" vase shows slightly lighter where the handle attaches to the clay body.
