Inspired by the soft edges of a moonflower and the eternal embrace of stone, the ruffled vessel functions as both a large vase and a sculptural piece in one.
Handcrafted from mid-fire stoneware, this vessel was lovingly built by hand using the coil method. The inside is coated with a smooth glaze to better hold water. Outer textural glaze is applied by hand with a large fan brush, meant to replicate the unique characteristics of stone.
